What you think about astronomy and astrophysics? Astrophysics is a branch of space science that applies the law of physics and chemistry to explain the birth, life, and death of the star, planets, galaxies, nebulae, and other things of the universe. there are many things that the people encounter on an everyday basis that were derived from astronomical techs like solar and lunar eclipses, telescopes, binocular, and all things.
In 1977, John O'Sullivan developed a method to sharpen the images from a radio telescope. this same method was applied to radio signal in general, specifically to those dedicated to strengthening computer network, which is now an integral part of all implementations.

Astrophysics is not crucial for all society, other than to inspire other kids to dream about the world we live in.
Astrophysics is important when you are interested to learn that except hydrogen in our bodies all other elements were forged in an ancient star whose fiery death provided the matter for our bodies. astrophysics get at some pretty awesome stuff which is liked by many kids.

Other technologies important to everyday life that was originally developed for astronomy are listed :
* X-ray observatory technology is used in current x-ray luggage belts in airports.
* In airports, a gas chromatograph - for separating and analyzing compound - designed for mars mission.
* The police use hand-held chemical oxygen demand (COD) photometers - instruments developed by astronomers for measuring light intensity.
* A gamma-ray spectrometer originally used to analyze lunar soil is now used as a non-invasive way to probe structural weakening of historical buildings or to look behind fragile mosaics.
* A smartphone camera which is also known as CCD (charge-coupled devices) is used in telescopes to digitalize the pictures of the star, galaxy, and all the other things.

We have learned that simple hydrocarbon structures necessary for life form in interstellar space. we have probed the limits of quantum mechanics and general relativity using objects and collisions out in the universe that have vastly greater energies than we could ever hope to create on our tiny planet.
we have learned that our universe appears to be accelerating, that it became transparent to light 13.7 billion years ago, and that the gravity from what we can see doesn't match the velocity profiles of the stars within galaxies, presuming our understanding of gravity is correct.

The first calendars were based on the movement of the moon and even the way that we define a second is due to astronomy. the atomic clock, developed in 1955, was calibrated using astronomical ephemeris time - a former standard astronomical time scale adopted by the IAU in 1952. this led to the internationally agreed-upon re-definition of the second.
